This site uses almost no cookies, and none for advertising, analytics or profiling. The complete list is below.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Some are required for a site to function; others track behaviour. We use only the first kind. The same rules apply to similar technologies, such as local storage, and we treat them the same way in this policy.
Cookies used on this site
Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the site to work and are exempt from the consent requirement under Regulation 5(5) of the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 (S.I. No. 336/2011).
| Entry | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| AI agent conversation (local storage) | Remembers your conversation with the AI agent so it can continue where you left off | Until you clear it through your browser settings |
No other cookies are used. We set no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no social media pixels, and we do not use device fingerprinting or any similar tracking technology.
Third-party content
The AI chat window is served from our own domain, api.joservices.ie, running on servers we operate within the European Union. It is not a third-party chat widget and sets no third-party tracking cookies.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time. Clearing or blocking the entry above will prevent the AI agent from continuing a conversation; the rest of the site will continue to work normally.
Guidance on managing cookies is available in the help pages of all major browsers.
Related information
How we handle personal data generally is set out in our Privacy Policy.
