Terms of Service
J & O Services
Last updated: 20 August 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and the AI agent available on it. They are short by design: this is an information website, and any work we carry out for you is governed by a separate written agreement.
By using this site you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Jan Odstrcilik, trading as J & O Services, a business name registered in Ireland under registration number 767924.
Contact: jan@joservices.ie
2. What this website is
This website describes AI and automation services for small businesses and provides an AI agent that can answer questions about those services and record enquiry details.
Nothing on this website constitutes an offer capable of acceptance. Descriptions of services are illustrative. Every engagement is scoped and priced individually in writing.
3. The AI agent
The chat agent on this site is an artificial intelligence system. It identifies itself as such at the start of every conversation, as required by Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act), and acts on behalf of J & O Services.
You should be aware that:
- The agent cannot quote prices or commit to dates. Nothing it says forms an offer, a quotation or a contract. Prices and timelines are binding only when confirmed by Jan Odstrcilik in writing.
- The agent may occasionally produce inaccurate information. Anything material should be confirmed with us directly.
- Information provided by the agent is general information about our services and is not professional advice.
- You should not submit information you are not entitled to disclose, and should not submit special category data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR. The agent does not require it.
4. Engagements
Any work we agree to carry out will be governed by a separate written agreement setting out scope, price, timeline, data protection responsibilities and liability. No contract for services arises until such an agreement is concluded in writing between us.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, the agent, or any connected system
- probe, scan, overload or otherwise interfere with the service
- use the agent to generate unlawful, harmful or infringing content
- attempt to manipulate the agent into acting outside its stated purpose
- extract or scrape content from this site at scale, or use it to train machine learning systems
We may restrict access where these terms are breached.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, design, layout and branding — is owned by Jan Odstrcilik and protected by copyright. You may view and print it for your own use. You may not reproduce, republish or use it commercially without our written permission.
7. Availability
We aim to keep this website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or withdraw all or part of the site for maintenance or other operational reasons without notice.
8. Liability
This website and the AI agent are provided for information purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or the output of the AI agent, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Irish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Liability arising from work we carry out for clients is dealt with in the written agreement governing that work, not in these terms.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published on this page, bearing the date above, is the version that applies.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
